Abrahan Louis Breguet. The brilliant watchmaker


Louis Bréguet was born in Neuchâtel (Switzerland) in 1747. At the age of 15, he left for Paris where he studied various disciplines, mathematics, astrology, The watchmaking , etc.
He began his industrial career by marrying a rich heiress and creating his first watch in Paris. Using an unprecedented system, he hired the watchrs and master watchmakers the most expert and most renowned, who have made his ideas brilliant and innovative.
in 1786, he moved to London and created a center where pocket watches and chronometers are made. In 1789, he returned to Paris, where he remained until 1793, when he fled for political reasons.
